When I watch a movie from my library, Google TV plays it with captions. Doesn't matter what movie I select.
I checked the global settings under accessibility and Display is set to Off for captions.
If I disable the captions in the movie I am watching, it pauses for a minute then resumes with the captions back on.
It started doing this recently. I previously never had this issue for the many years I have used the product.
I can play my same movie from YouTube and it does not show the captions. But it's a pain to search for movies in YouTube. Also the search in the Google TV does not offer YouTube as an option to watch the movie from.

Hi @thenefield,
Thank you very much for reaching out to this community! I understand that the captions keep staying on even after you have turned them off, but this only happens when playing movies from your Library, not when using other apps like YouTube. I know it can be frustrating to watch movies this way; don't worry, I am here to help you!
For this type of issue, I recommend performing the following steps on Google TV to disable 'Live Caption' even though you have already turned off standard captions.
Visit our Help Center to learn more about Live Caption: Caption media & calls on your device.
Please feel free to share any additional details you think might be relevant.
Best regards,
Eduardo
