The sound on my chrome cast does not work. It works the first 2 ish seconds and then it becomes silent. Had the problem for 2 months.
tried to:
• Turn off and on the chrome cast
• Factory reset on both the tv and the chrome cast
• Tried different html outlets and power outlets
• Changed the sound settings on the tv
• Plugged in speakers and headphones, no sound either
any ideas on how to solve this? )):

I apologize for the late response, and thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that audio issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out with this. First, make sure that your Google Home app is up-to-date. Then, clear out the cached app data on the Google Home app as well. Afterwards, if the problem persists, try casting from another device, such as a tablet or computer, to see if the problem persists across devices. If it doesn't, it would point to an issue with your casting device or app.
