Chromecast Ultra becomes unresponsive everyday between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m.

Literally *every single day*, my Chromecast Ultra, connected to my television, and generally casting Twitch streams (though not always), resets, or freezes, or stops casting, or does something else unexpected, between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Eastern US. I often have to unplug it and plug it back in to make it wake up, but sometimes it reboots on its own for no apparent reason. Why is this happening?

I'll also note that I have other Chromecasts, and none of them have this issue. In addition, my Chromecast Ultra is using the LAN adapter.

To gather the necessary information, please answer the following questions:

  • Is the device's power-saving mode turned on?
  • When did the problem start?
  • Is the Chromecast Ultra firmware updated? If not, please follow these steps:
    1. On your Chromecast Ultra's home screen, go to Settings.
    2. Select System.
    3. Select About.
    4. Then, select System update.
  • Could you please describe how warm or hot the device is when it reboots on its own?
  • Do you have any automation created for between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.?
