Chromecast gone

A recent update to Chrome's video player (for my Galaxy Tab S7+) means that double-tap to advance or rewind no longer works: it maximises/minimises instead.  More importantly, on some websites (notably the service from my internet provider, my primary source for watching TV), Chromecast has disappeared as an option.

It's not a network problem, as I can still mirror to Google Home, and other websites work fine.

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. We’ve been receiving a lot of posts related to the changes that happened in the Google Chrome browser, especially the interface after the recent update. Most of these posts confirm that the Chromecast devices are working as intended, and the changes are more on the browser and how it works differently from how it used to be (navigation, interface, options, menu, etc.). I suggest you give our friends at the Google Chrome Help Community a shout. Here’s also another thread: i cant find the Cast button in menu which might be related to your concern.
