My problem:
So when I'm going through the initial set up process I select English then I successfully connect to my wifi (starlink if that matters) then it starts a system update, after about 30 seconds I get the message ""--my wifi-" cannot reach internet. Check your connection and try again.
What I have done that has not worked:
Rest both with the button and my plug
Reset my wifi
Used my hotspot to make it download (I get the same result)
Tried multiple Chromecasts (5)(the provider I bought from was kind enough to send me 8 instead of 1🙂)
Split my router to both 2.4 and 5Gh and try to connect to both
Tried turning everything off and on again
Contact google
My question:
What do I do now lol, I'll try anything

Experiencing the exact same issue down to the trouble shooting. I think I am going to bypass the Starlink Router and try to update using another I have laying around to see if that will work for the update.

Hey there everyone,
I apologize for the late response, and thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that updating issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out. It sounds like in this case, it may have something to do with your router settings. Here is a list of router settings you'll want to enable and disable to make sure the Chromecast updates properly:
Enable:
Disable:
I look forward to your responses, and if you have any other questions or concerns for me, please let me know!
Best regards,
Jeran
