Chromecast issue

Hello everybody.  I have a Chromecast that is showing two devices that I can cast from.  One of those devices is no longer in use.  How can I remove that one device from Chromecast.  Thank you in advance for any help provided.

  • Does it show up as "Offline" in your Google Home app, or is it missing from the app but still appearing in the "Cast" menu?
  • On which device are you seeing this list? (Android phone, iPhone, or a Chrome browser?)
  • Have you already tried restarting your Wi-Fi router or logging out of your Google account on that specific device?
