Chromecast keeps connecting itself to my phone after I disconnected

This is more like a ran or a bug really. I am EXTREMELY frustrated at this point and decided to post about it. Now here are the steps to reproduce it.

1. I connected my phone to the TV Chromecast

2. I casted a video via YouTube app.

3. I've done watching, so I disconnected my phone from the Chromecast.

4. When I reopen my YouTube app, the app decided it's too smart so it Automagically connects to the Chromecast.

There is no way in hell I was able to disconnect it from the tv. Tried to force the app to close, restarted the phone and put youtube in igconito mode. Now don't tell me to go and restart the Chromecast on the TV, cause it's very stupid if u guys design your product like that. If a user asked to do "A" task, u should only do "A" task, not including "B" task with it. Disconnect means disconnect, don't make the app unnecessary smart.

Hi Koolfofo,

Thanks for posting. Is this only happening with YouTube app? Could you try a different mobile phone and check if the same issue will persist? Also, please try to cast from a different Chromecast-enabled apps and observe the behavior. Actually, restarting the Chromecast might also help in fixing the communication between the Chromecast and the casting device, so you might want to try that too.

Thanks,

Jennifer
