Chromecast not letting cast my screen via Google home app

Chromecast not letting me cast my screen from Google home app. I can cast via other apps like YouTube Netflix but not Google home please help or suggest.

I have given all permissions to home app it still not working permission like microphone and others

Based on your statement, it seems that your Chromecast device is working as intended, as you’re able to cast other apps. The message appears to be device-related, as it is not optimized for such a function. What is the make and model of your phone or device? What steps have you taken?

 

Give the steps below a try and let me know how it goes:

 

  • Reboot your Chromecast device, casting source, and Wi-Fi router.
  • Delete and reinstall your Google Home App.
  • Isolate it by testing it on another phone or device.
  • Try a factory reset, then re-setup.

Hi Kimy,

 

My phone make is Realme 7 Pro with Android operating system.

I tried already all the steps you mentioned except  factory reset of my phone and trying chrome cast set up on setup on other phone.

Thanks for trying the steps. It would help us understand if this is isolated to your phone alone by trying another phone. It would be best if the other phone was of a different brand or model. Let me know once you’ve tried.
