Dear Google,
As a parent of four kids and the owner of more Google products than I can count, I beg you, please ,please, please allow parents to lock apps on Chromecast devices. I know you think you are helping parents by allowing them to create individual profiles for their kids, but that doesn't solve anything when your child can just access the parent profile and apps without any sort of password or pin. How does it make any sense when my child doesn't need to enter a password to get into the parent account, but I have to put in a password to log in/out my child's account. Please tell me how this helps me as a parent? Perhaps the most frustrating thing about this, is there is an easy fix, just allow parents to put a password lock on individual apps. You have this feature on other Android TV enabled devices, yet for some reason you refuse to do this for Chromecast devices. Why? The only answer that makes any sense is that you don't want parents to keep their kids from accessing adult content, you want kids to have untethered access to apps like YouTube, because it helps your bottom line. If I'm wrong, if you actually do care about your consumers, please allow parents to lock individual apps on your Chromecast devices.
