Connecting chromecast gen4 with google home mini (1st gen)

Is it possible that i can select my google home mini as standard output (casting mode) for my chromecast? I have my google home connected to a bluetooth hifi system and want to be able to cast to my google home mini for audio, but i also want to have the chromecast output its audio into the speaker system. Is this the best way to do this (if it is possible) or should i rethink (what is a better option in your opinion).

Thanks a lot in advance!

No, you cannot do that.

You cannot use casting to redirect audio from your Chromecast device if you are using video content.

You can only use the Bluetooth on the Chromecast to move the audio and you already have it going to your hifi.   You would have to drop the Bluetooth connection to your hifi and establish a Bluetooth connection to your Mini.

You may be able to do this with AUDIO-only content like Spotify or YouTubeMusic by setting up a speaker group with your Chromecast and your Mini both in it.

But, that only works on audio content.
