Google TV Streamer bug - setting video resolution to 1080p results in apps getting output cut off

There is a bug with the Google TV Streamer where setting the video resolution to 1080p from 4K native on my TV, output from apps gets cut off, for instance you can see only parts of the TV channel name overlays being cut off.

This issue did not exist with same setup on the Chromecast with Google TV 4K.

Hi Goldenrelease,

Thank you for reaching out to the community.  I understand that the video resolution to 1080P from 4K native on my TV, output from apps gets cut off.

At the moment, i need to ask a few questions to give the correct information:

In the meantime, please follow these few steps:

  • Turn on your Google streaming device and then at the top right of your TV screen, go to All settings .
  • Select Display & Sound.

To better guide please take a look at this article: Display settings for Chromecast with Google TV and Google TV Streamer - Streaming Help

Keep me posted,

Best regards.

Rusell.
