Google​TV or Play Movies app icon on Chromecast Gen 4

Is there any way I can get a GoogleTV or Google Play Movies app icon in the apps on Chromecast Gen 4. Latest sw installed and also did a factory reset. 

 
The Google TV App is installed and use able, but no app icon appears either on the home screen or on the Apps tab. 
 
I do get the recommendations row for Google Play Movies, but this only has recommendations and doesn't allow me to browse available content.
 
I can open Google Play Moves from Settings / Apps, with a voice command or with a search in the Apps tab, but never see the app icon anywhere. 
 
Having the app icon in my apps list would make it so much easier. Can this be done?

Hi Oddrain,

 

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. Unfortunately, it is already part of the interface (built-in), which you can access via manual search or via voice command. The actual app icon can’t be installed alongside the other apps. You can send feedback instead. Let us know if you have questions.

Thanks for the response and understand. 

Would it be possible to request that an app icon is added? It would make browsing Google TV so much easier and intuitive. Might even lead to increased rental / purchase revenues, so we would all be happy. Win-Win!

Thanks for the reply. You can send feedback, put in the details, or make a request. Google pays attention to customer feedback. It doesn’t guarantee that every feedback request will be granted and implemented, but most of the improvements are due to customer feedback. Let us know if you still have questions.
