Hulu is launching on its own

90% of the time when I boot up my chromecast with google tv, Hulu just starts up automatically. Why is this happening and is there any way to stop this? It's a minor annoyance, but it is an annoyance. I just want to see the home screen.

I always make sure to exit whatever app I'm using when I'm done watching, so it's not like I'm just leaving Hulu on somehow. In fact, it's not even the app I use most often. It's just, for some reason, the app that's always launching on its own when I turn chromecast on. There's nothing in the Hulu app settings that would account for this.

Not sure what platform I was supposed to choose. None of them actually seem right. Whatever OS the physical chromecast with google tv uses on its own, I guess.

• Is this issue only happening with Hulu, or have you noticed it with other apps too?
• Is your Chromecast device up to date?
• When you exit Hulu, are you completely closing the app (e.g., going back to the Chromecast home screen) or just stopping playback?
• If you connect your Chromecast with Google TV to another TV do you get the same behavior?
