My latest forum "3rd Gen Chromecast not connecting to wifi or home" was prematurely recently closed.
It's Easter holidays and I didn't get to my emails in time. Can I please have this forum re-opened and in response the the latest reply from a Google community member, yes please can I be contacted by Google and this has become a randomly reoccurring issue where the only solution is to keep trying again throughout the day in the hopes that it will work again. Surely the solution can't be a factory reset multiple times a day, every day it doesn't seem to connect or won't cast.

Hi Muddi my apologies as it’s been incredibly horrific week we’ve had as a family. I did start to fill out the form and realised that the options available were fantastic, they could contact me straight away! So then I just needed to find a time without the kids around to be in front of the tv for an hour or so that I can concentrate with Google to get it fixed. I’ll try and fill out the form next week and if I have any issues I’ll reply
