I have two Nest Audio Speakers & created a group for them
I have a Google TV Streamer
How can I link the speaker group to the3 TV Streamer so I can have surround sound?

I am sorry, that is not possible.

Speaker Groups can only be used for Audio-only content.  They do not support anything with Video in it.

And, while you can connect some audio devices to your Chromecast Streamer, you have to use Bluetooth and you can only connect ONE device.

Isn't the sound coming from the TV Streamer Audio?  But you can create a group of two Nest Audio Speakers & Bluetooth Spotify & play music from the pair.  Just trying to understand what the difference is, thanks.

Speaker groups only support audio-only streams.  That's how the standard was designed.  It cannot carry or sync with video.

However, it looks like some of that is changing.  Read this article that was just published:

https://techcrunch.com/2025/10/01/google-teases-its-new-gemini-powered-google-home-speaker-coming-in...

It says "Users will also now be able to pair two Google Home speakers with a Google TV Streamer — Google’s streaming device for TVs — for a surround-sound-style setup, which is something its users have long requested."

WOW, that's really good news.  But is that for the new style speaker they just came out with or will the older Nest Audio be able to apply the same concept?

WTF does this have to do with my question?
