Linking Chromecast 1st gen to new wifi

I recently changed my wifi and now I can't connect my Chromecast (1st gen) to the new Wifi. When I follow the steps in the Google Home app, it detects the Chromecast but says that it must be activated first by using the "Device utility" app. The problem is I can't download this app, Playstore says it was developped for an older version of Android. Does anyone know a way to activate the Chromecast 1st gen without Device utility??

To set up your first-generation Chromecast, use the Google Home app instead of Device Utility.

• For Chromecast (1st Gen), I recommend you connect to a Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz network.
