How can I prevent the Streamer remote control from turning off my Samsung-TV?

Hi @PawelZ

This sounds like the HDMI CEC feature, which allows devices connected via an HDMI cable to communicate and control each other, enabling you to use a single remote for multiple devices. That's why when you turn off your Google TV Streamer it also turns off your TV.

You can change this in the settings:

  1. Select the settings cog at the top right of the screen.
  2. Select the settings cog again to show all settings.
  3. Under "Display and sound" turn off "Enable HDMI-CEC".
