Hi all
looking for some advice on how to stream Foxtel to a downstairs tv.
since Telstra disconnected 3G we have been unable to get Foxtel to stream to a 2nd tv located downstairs in our living room.
Telstra shop sold the wife a Fetch box which streams everything bar Foxtel….We phoned Foxtel who can’t understand why Telstra would have sold us a competitor product which doesn’t stream Foxtel.
Our tv is a LG Oled ,about 6 years old and doesn’t support mirroring or Foxtel Go via a phone or Ipad. Unsure if it’s a Google TV ????
Chromecast appears to have been taken off the market, so just wondering is there a cheap but effective way to stream FOXTEL ?
thanks in advance

Unfortunately, we cannot help you with Foxtel or Fetch issues. You will need to ask them.
Chromecast is still on the market. Google just changed it and now it's the Streamer. It has all the old features of Chromecast devices (the ability to cast to it from compatible phones, tablets, and computers) plus a new interface and remote so you don't HAVE to use another device if you don't want to.

Yes, it does cost more but not a huge amount and there are a lot of new features and hardware included.
And, if you prefer the older style Chromecast devices, Google is STILL supporting them with updates (except for the 1st Generation) so you can buy one that is pre-owned from eBay or some other site. I still use a couple of 2nd Gen devices.
