Hi All,
Looking for some advice. I have an LG G1 flush mounted to the wall. I routed four HDMI 2.1 cables behind it. I would like to hookup my Chromecast, but it won't fit behind the TV. I have a cable hooked to the TV already, but have heard couplers can reduce signal. Is that a significant issue or is there a better solution to hooking up the Chromecast without going behind the TV? Thanks!

You are right, in theory any extensions or couplers can impact the quality of the signal.
But, as long as you keep it short and use a high-quality cable you should be fine.
It would be worse to trap the Chromecast device in a small space because they are little computers and generate a fair amount of heat that they need to dissipate. They need a little room and airflow or they will get damaged.

Hi Jennifer, I'm all good. Thank you for checking. I bought an HDMI coupler. The colors go a bit bonkers when switching between inputs, but otherwise the quality is solid.
