Youtube TV channels disappeared from Live tab

After a recent software update I can't see Youtube TV channels on the Live tab anymore. I've tried resetting my Chromecast to factory settings and restarting everything from scratch but it still only has the Google Freeplay channels on the Live tab and have to open the Youtube TV app to watch rather than seeing those channels in the Live tab. Is this the intended functionality now or is there a way to get back to how it was before?

I meant to say YouTube TV is not listed as a service. So I cannot turn it back on.

Today, for no apparent reason, my Youtube TV is Back!  I went back into my account and looked again at My Services.  Today, Youtube TV showed up...First on the list...not alphabetically.  Previously it was not there.  It was not turned on today...Turned it on, and Surprise!, Youtube is back...like ti was before this debacle. 

Rather disappointed that Google has been so non-communicative.  But, happy my TV service has been restored. 

Everyone...keep checking your account and My services...perhaps yours will show up soon.

Is google working on an official fix for this?   I have 5 chromecasts with Google tv and one streamer all exhibiting the same issue here.   Come on google.   Get it together here....

Thank you for your patience with this. The team has started rolling out a fix, and it should reach all users by the end of the week. If you are still experiencing this issue after this week, could you please let us know?

you must link YouTubeYV in your profile 1st then uninstall reinstall YoutubeTV then it will still be linked already and appear on Live

Same problem.  The followiing worked for me.  While in the YouTube TV app, got to settings in the upper right.  Scroll down to "exit."  Restart YouTube TV.  It was as simple as that.  My channels are now "Favorites," "Recents," "YouTubeTV," "Google TV Freeplay," "Popular," "Movies," just like they used to be.

Thanks for your reply.  Youtube has been back for at least 10 days now.  I had to go into my profile in settings and turn it on.  Previously, when problem began...it wasn''t even listed, so I could not turn it on.  Evidently Google did something to nuke it.  But it has returned.  If yours is still missing...check your profile again and see if it has returned..but is still turned off.
