how to switch back and forth from google chromcast to tv and vise versa

I have just connected my google Chromecast to my HD LG TV. I want to know how to go back to TV mode without unplugging the Chromecast charger. If I have to unplug the charger, do I have to go through the whole process of downloading every time I want to go to Google TV?

You have to tell your TV to switch inputs.

If your Google remote works with your TV, press the small button on the bottom-right.  That should bring up the menu and then you may be able to press that button again and again to cycle the choice to the input you want

Otherwise, you will have to use the remote that came with your TV.  The button may say Input or Source.
