It’s supposed to, but it’s incredibly hot and miss. Voice recognition
has gone backwards over time, and the number of times it responds to
“hey google” then is unable to ‘hear’ a single word, and eventually
gives up listening is also ever-increasing....
Another year down the line…. Still no fix.Can’t speak for everyone, but
I’m definitely now not preferring google products and services, and
surprisingly finding Microsoft much more reliable and accessible, but
less surprisingly Amazon.
Awful response.its getting worse as broadcasts have now lost the ability
to broadcast the user’s voice recording, instead it tries to recognise
the speech, and broadcasts the message in Google’s robot voice with
errors every time, and you’ve no idea ...
I have to agree, Google was a choice and an investment for me too. It
was stable and reliable, but seems to have never-ending glitches as they
try to keep up with Apple and Amazon. Not what we expect from Google,
particularly when we pay for the subs...
