Tried all the above. Still no solution. It's on Google's end to fix with
a update rather then making people jump through unnecessary hoops trying
to fix which do not work. It really is starting to make one to think
twice before committing to Google s...
I have this same problem for quite some time now and the solution above
and others I've tried to no avail. I share "Proggie" frustration and
feels that since Google took over Nest it went downhill. Along with this
Google will no longer be supporting ...

Thank you. I'll check the connections again more closely. I had
disconnected the long cable from the power connector and the camera when
I brought them into my home.
