Thank you for your answer olavbr, i had indeed reset both devices and tried bridge mode too pepper prior to asking the question and it didn't help. Given that at the moment i only need the Google assistant functionality and not the router i will not ...

I realized that if my Google Nest router is disconnected I have the option to connect my Access Point directly to my ISP router. When doing this I see that the Access Point country is also DE, which makes me confused that I was having those error mes...
