After another hour, I fixed my issue. After you remove the thermostat from the Home app, the thermostat itself is still in your account. I removed it and then it worked (after several more tries).I'm not sure what training the Google Helpline person ...

I need to know the amperage because the my Taco SR506 switching relay appears to be unable to handle the amperage of four Nests. I need to know this amperage before I speak to Taco.

Never mind. The C terminals amperage is no longer an issue. I added an NC switching relay between the Nest's C terminal and the NC valve.
