The thermostat is bright and readable in low light setting. When overhead lights are on (brighter), the display is dim and unreadable. The thermostat has been reset multiple times as well as a factory rest and reconfigured.

Thank you for the response. Unfortunately, this Nest model does not have a brightness option under the equipment settings. Nest Thermostat 1.4 (2020)
