I agree that there must have been some firmware that was pushed out that
drained everyone's battery because the problem seemed to have occurred
roughly around the same time regardless of when one might have purchased
the doorbell initially.
I just wanted to add that I am also having the exact same problem as
everyone else when the doorbell is pressed... just in case Google (or
Bot Brad) is keeping track.
