Turns out you need to keep resetting via the reset button on the back of
the camera each time the app says there's a problem. Eventually it'll
complete the update and installation will complete.
I have exactly the same problem. I did a reset and it went from saying
the download was 0% complete to saying it was 57% complete, but now
stuck there.
