We should be able to turn the fan on without a temperature mode being set. My old 20 dollar thermostat would let me run the fan even if the ac or furnace was turned off. This seems like a really obvious miss for this thermostat.

That is probably the case. Currently im showing that i have the first gen plan based on what you said. Imo the $80 plan isn't great and the $150 is over priced. Maybe your team can consider adding a day or two of recordings in addition to the length ...

It does not show in my google home subscription list, but does show when i look.in my nest app. Its nest aware, the 50 dollar subscription. I think im screwed unless i bump it up to the 150 subscription 郎. This is a not great move by google.
