To disable stage two heating I disconnected the wire on the thermostat.
Not ideal but as it take a very long time to come up to temp if we have
been away. At least it's better than having Heat 2 come on when you
don't want it.
Hello Jake, it looked like from the nest documentation that Heat Stage 2
could be adjusted by a Nest Pro with the correct code. After chasing
this down for years (that’s right!) nest says it can’t be done. The
algorithm is too smart I guess. Too bad....
