Will this setup work on the nest thermostat, just have some concerns
with the emergency heat. Also wondering why my wiring seems super thin
compared to other pictures I have seen posted.
I trimmed back some of the coating on the wires and trimmed the ends and
that seemed to do the trick. So all is up and running on the t-stat
downstairs. I'll just need to purchase a new base somehow, so that I can
get the other one up and running.
I think I rendered my first base plate useless. Since the base part of
the system wasn't detecting the wires I folded the ends over on
themselves thinking it would have a better chance at making a connection
but I still had no luck. And unfortunately...
I tried installing they nest yesterday with issues. I didn't actually
open this forum and I was reading your response from my email
notifications. I only selected that I had W/Y/G/R/C. I am confused cause
on the image you attached it shows other thin...
