Oops forgot to mention. I turned the switch in the electrical box off before swapping the wires.... Then I turned it back on for a few minutes without testing first and then turned it back on.

An update. I find that if I turn off the chime and then turn it back on again in the app, it works for a short while. Trying to determine that time length currently.
