New google nest, can I add my old google wifi pods for better coverage

Did not get full coverage in our home with Google Wifi so I upgraded to Google Nest. Still not great. Wanted to see if I could add my Google Wifi pods to the system for better coverage. No luck. Do not have WPA. Am I just out of luck?

Thank you, David. We did a factory reset and the Google nest system took them and we have full house coverage now. Great to be up.
