After some further investigation it turns out that this slider corrects an imbalance between the twospeakers not between sound and video.As far as I can tell it doesn't correct a lag between picture and sound.I hope I'm wrong but I don't think so.

Hi AnaWhat I really meant is that I found the slidebar to make theadjustment. It turns out that synchronisation isn't really possible. You can't even get close, unfortunately.So I've decided to stick to the TV's internal speaker.Thanks anyway.Peter.

I don't want to nitpick but it does work.There is just this timelag which varies by the way.Sometimes it is very small, sometimes larger.
