Run a routine only once and have it deactivate itself until I activate it again.

I have a routine that I want to only run once if the starter condition is met, and then I want it to deactivate itself. How can I achieve this? I tried adding a custom command "Deactivate routine Test" to disable the Test routine but it did nothing.
