Those steps solved the issue, thank you! I now see the thermostat in the home app and my spouse can see it now as well. I appreciate your help finding the right trouble shooting steps.

There is nothing else set up from the nest app. I do not see our thermostat in the google home app either. Only the nest app. there are no other homes in my spouse’s nest app.

Yes to all of that, they can control all the other devices in the home app and are definitely a part of it. But even though they are logged into the nest app with the same email, the thermostat will not show up.
