When setting up Google home mini it connects to wifi but won’t connect to phone

I have been trying to reset up my google home mini as I moved to a new place. I try to set it up and it says it is connect to my wifi but then says it cannot communicate with my phone I’m not sure what to do as I have already factory reset it.
