Hi I have a wifi nest and I’ve run a cat 6 cable to my shed as it’s too far away to get a decent signal.I’ve tried to add the router to the network using Google home app and get the attached error message. Can anyone give me tips on how to sort this ...

Could it be a faulty unit? It was straight out of the box? Is there a factory reset button or anything worth trying?

Hi Kevin,just to clarify, the steps are : turn off the internet service provider modem / router2) plug in the second router I’m trying to add and factory reset it (leaving primary router plugged in)3) turn back on the internet service provider router...

Hi Kevin , thanks for getting back to me Im using apple (iOS)yea I’ve tried connecting the second point (the router) in the main house via wifi (with no connection to Ethernet cable) and that is when the error occurs it’s a model hd2 thanks heaps!
