Govee Smart Lights OFFLINE/UNAVAILABLE

Hello, thank you for taking the time to view this post. I've had a Google nest hub 2nd Gen for nearly 8 months and I have a serious problematic issue that I have tried my best to resolve. I'm hoping someone here may have experienced a similar experience and can guide me on how they solved it!

I have a full govee light setup for my gaming room. From smart wall strips, neon ropes, smart light bulbs, govee lamps, and the govee glide hex panels.

All of them are smart and are compatible with Google hub.

However I can only ever get the ropes to connect, everything else fails on Google hub, including my govee smart fans.

Everything works and syncs perfectly in the native govee app, but in the home app and with voice on Google nest fails to work.

I've tried these steps below from a previous forum I noticed, however this does not solve my problem. Every light when reconnected/relinked to my hub shows offline/unavailable:

"Go to Third-party apps & services from your Google Account > Remove Govee's access.

Clear the app cache. Open your phone’s Settings > Apps > Select the Google Home app (and the Govee app) > Tap Storage, and then tap Clear cache.

Force close and reopen the Google Home app, then link Govee again.

If the issue persists, create a new home and then link Govee.

Ask Google home to sync your devices"

Please help

Thanks! That worked! I had to delete every device, and readd them in the Govee Home App. Once I did that I reconnected/Relinked the Govee account to my Google home and it worked perfectly

Hi DannyMorning,

That certainly hasn’t been easy for you. We appreciate you taking all those steps. Let’s further look into it. Try to create a new Govee account. Factory reset one of your Govee devices and set it up to the new account. Uninstall and reinstall the Google Home app > Log in > Link the new Govee account. Let me know how it goes.

Regards,
Alex
