How to update email address for Google Home App?

Hello. I just set up a Google Home account and added devices. Then later I created a new gmail account specific for any and all house related things. 

How do I switch the Google Home account from my personal gmail to the new "house only" gmail account I just created? 

I have the Google Home app for iOS.

I think you may not be able to do that, without removing all of your Google Nest devices from the Google Home app, performing a factory reset on each Google Nest device if one did not occur automatically, and reinstalling them in the Google Home app, using your new gmail account.

This is what Google Nest's Help page says:

"If your account's email address ends in @gmail.com, you usually can't change it."
