I can't log into the nest mobile app on my iPhone. I can log in through the web application

I am unable to log into the nest app. I click sign-in with google but am unable to select my gmail account. I am able to log in on the web application. I've tried deleting/re-installing the app, clearing all cookies/cache but still no luck.

Sorry for my late response. Thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I just wanted to make sure that your issue is addressed. I can imagine it's been very inconvenient for you to access your Nest app at the moment. Sorry to hear that! I would love to look into this further for you.
  • Are you logged in with the same user name and password in the app?
  • Are you connected to the same wifi as your cameras?
  • Have you made sure that your firmware is up to date?

I don’t use any Nest cameras, just 3rd gen thermostat. And I use Nest login the app. I don’t know if I have the UTD firmware as I don’t think you have that info available that I am aware of.

Sorry to hear you're still having the same issues. What troubleshooting steps have you taken? Have you uninstalled and reinstalled the app? Have you double checked the account that you're trying to log in with?

Thanks for follow up.

Uninstalled app

Shutdown and Pierre back on device

Reinstalled app

Completed on boarding process in the app

Attempted to log into Nest account in the app

Result, sits at the Nest logo with spinning animation and never logs in

I can log into home.nest.com just fine. I just find the website interface is not good and prefer the Nest app.

Pierre = power on

Thanks for letting us know that information. I have reviewed this, and it seems like there is an issue going on with the app that we are looking into. I appreciate you going through the troubleshooting steps.

I have the same problem. I can log into the website just fine home.nest.com.
