Nest App

The App indicates that it is offline but the thermostat says it is online. I have downloaded a new app restarted, etc multiple times. Basically I followed all of the directions and the app still does not work. Pls provide guidance

I called Google and they walked me through the the fix. It amounted to a restart of the software connected to the thermostat using the QR code. I don’t believe it was done probably when installed. Hats off to Google customer service they were wonderful.

I have the same situation:

3x nest thermostats 

1x nest hello video doorbell

I also have google wifi mesh router. the Nest devices are listed as connected in the google home app under the wifi network details. 

the nest app shows the devices as not connected.
