Camera stopped sending motion alerts

My camera stopped sending motion alerts.  It notices motion and sound.  It still sends sound alerts but not for the motion.  I haven't changed any settings.  Notifications on my phone from Nest are turned on and the Nest app is set for motion and sound.

Has this only started after the last app update? Mine have been faulty since the last update to the app.

Hi folks,

 

Thanks for reaching out — let's see what's going on. A few questions: what Nest camera are we working on?  Is the issue happening with push notifications or both email and push? Do you all receive push notifications on multiple devices? Also, are your mobile devices connected to a network?

 

Could you all try to connect the mobile device to another Wi-Fi or cellular network? Signing in to your account on another mobile device and triggering a notification to test might also help isolate this.

How hilarious is it that google never take responsibility for their faulty hardware and software... Its always the users fault

I didn't need to try the steps suggested.  After a day or two the alerts started up again.  Thanks for trying.
