Hello,
I recently got a new hardwired Nest Indoor Camera so I can check on my pet while I am away. When I first set it up, it worked great. When I left for work in the morning, the camera would turn on, and it would turn off when I arrived home. I recently had to reset my phone to factory defaults, and now the Home and Away routines do not automatically toggle my camera on and off based on my location. I've tried checking all the various settings, and I reset the camera and re-ran the setup in the Google Home app, but the problem still exists. I can manually choose the Home or Away routine and it will toggle the camera, but the automatic presence sensing doesn't seem to work. I verified that my home address is correct and that my phone is correctly detecting my location. I have a Pixel 5. I recently got the Android 12 upgrade, but the problem still exists. I can manually turn the camera on and off, but the automated on/off based on my location is not working. Does anyone know how I can fix this? I would really like the camera to automatically turn on when I leave and turn off when I get home. Thank you.

In case anyone else has this problem, I was able to solve the problem by removing the camera from the Google Home app, resetting the camera to factory defaults, and redoing the setup again in Google Home. I had tried that before, but it apparently only worked after the second try.
