Like others, our Nest Doorbell began to crack and peel...

Located in NEPA and setup in an area that gets 1-2hrs. early morning sunlight with rest of day in the shade, so no direct heat. Just noticed a month or so ago the cracking and peeling on the face of the doorbell. Purchased in 2019 so out of warranty. Any alternatives other than just living with it?  Did see silicone covers are made for these but one review mentioned their device overheated.
