Hello!
I am having problems with the live streams from all my Nest Cams. When I try and see the live stream, all I am getting is a black screen with the message "Live video unavailable... Camera unavailable." (See the two screenshot).
I tried to turn off the camera on my app. And it is still not working.
Sometimes, I could hear the audio. But no video.
I got two Nest Cams in one house and two other Nest Cams in another house in another country. All four were working brilliantly until three days ago.
I would really appreciate your suggested solutions. As you can understand, we depend on these Nest Cams to improve home security. So far, Nest Cams and the Google Home app had been great.
(We are using for different Nest Cams (indoor, 2nd Gen) on Android phones with the best Fibre broadband service available).

Same issue here. Nest Aware Plus, 10-day 24x7 subscription. Two Pixel 6 Pro phones. Four new gen Nest cams that are AC powered and two Nest Hello devices powered through existing doorbell wiring. The two Nest Hello are working properly and are displaying live images on the Pixel phones. However, the four new Nest cams all state that they "Can't reach the camera". There are no live images. However, they are recording and sending alerts. As others have stated, I can access full history - video, activity, etc.
There was a required restart for both Pixel Pro 6 phones first thing this morning due to an update. I'm wondering if this is what's broken the system.

Same issue, no live feed, ocational sound, android 12, restarted everything and nothing works, my cameras are used as babycams so this needs to be resolved asap! Not saying my problem is bigger, just that these cameras are not doing anything for me now!

I was having issues late last night. I thought it was fixed before I went to sleep. Woke up this morning and I am having the same issues that are posted in this thread. Using P6 Pro, A13. I did all troubleshooting steps.
The cams do work fine on iOS.

After completing an Android 13 update on my Pixel 6 Pro this morning, every one of my four Nest Battery cameras (solar panel powered) will no longer provide a live feed. Only history alerts are viewable. I've reset my wifi and range extenders, updated the Google Home app, hooked one camera directly to power, and restarted my phone numerous times. Nothing has resolved the issue. The only security camera functioning in my home is my Nest doorbell, which is hard-wired in to power and not battery operated.

Sounds like the same problem I am having. Only my old wired doorbell works and none of the newer Nest Cams.

I am having the same problem with all my cameras (2 wired, 3 battery powered but plugged in). No live feed but they are still recording history that is viewable.

This post attributes this issue to Google Home app version 2.59.33.2 for Android devices; that version does not exist for iOS, and on iOS with Google Home app version 2.59.211, the problem does not exist:

I tried streaming my cameras on my Google TV and it still did not work for what it's worth.

That makes a lot of sense because mine all of sudden stopped working on my Pixel 6a yet works fine on my partner's iPhone. Hope they fix this issue soon!

Since today I have no live video anymore of my google doorbell (battery). What a mess on this platform...

Hey there,
Thank you for bringing up the concern you're experiencing, I would love to look into this further for you. The first troubleshooting step that I'd recommend would be to restart your device. This process should keep all your settings, and reconnect it to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever freezes, has connection problems, or isn't working normally.

I am having the same issue on my Pixel 6 Pro phone. However it works fine on my partners iPhone. It appears there was an update to the Google Home app on Oct 11th.

Exactly same issue here - and just like others I can confirm the issue is with my Pixel 6pro. I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 and it works fine. Must be something specific to the phone home app.
Also, it seems the newer cameras are more involved than the older nest stuff.

I'm still having this issue. I have the new wife nest doorbell. My doorbell camera works fine.
