Yes, Brad. Will the recently released Nest cam battery be able to stream via chromecast.
With the previous wired camera, i could say "Hey google, show me patio camera on living room tv." But with the new cameras i can only stream to google home or to the hub.

Hey folks,
I am terribly sorry for this inconvenience! I understand how frustrating it is that you can't access the video feed like you could previously, but I do not know of any way around this as the Nest Hello Battery doorbell are not available in the Nest app. I will forward you feedback for you of course! Please let me know if you still need further assistance.
Best Regards,
Brad.

Lorian is right. Makes zero sense. Also, there are not good instructions on how to get your nest hub to show you the display automatically. The instructions are there for the wired, not the battery. Plus, Google is making it hard on thier own site to find these things. WHy are they different? Why is the Google device a compromise vs the Arlo and others that work with the google ecosystem - including the battery models?????
