I've just purchased a Google Nest Cam (battery) and trying to install it in my existing Google Home account, which I've had for years with chromecast, chromecast audio, homehub, etc. When adding a device on the google home app on my android phone, it (eventually) tells me that I need to use the Nest App, with a button to take me to Nest app. I click the button, got to Nest app, add a product, scan my QR code, then Nest app says 'you will need the Google Home app to set up this device' with a button to take me to Google Home. I hit the button, it takes me to Google Home, and the journey starts again!
I bought this camera instead of competitors because I thought it would be the best to work on my Google Home system. Wow!
Any ideas welcome!
Thanks,
B
