Hello,
Something curious happened today. Someone rang the doorbell and there was no video only for that specific
event. The app has a blank recording for 2m and then recovers. The prior event records up to the point
when the person (unknown to us , covid masked and not for delivery) presses the doorbell and then freezes.
There are no other events with missing video with motion or other people pressing the doorbell. The missing event is only this specific individual. Also, checked all available other phones we have and the web with the same event missing. We are thinking this person might have had something that interfered with the wifi communications from the doorbell. We also over-heard on the video that the guy was waiting for a "black car"
which showed up a minute later and left with the guy.
Anyone ran into anything similar with missing events at the doorbell? We tried to contact Nest but not luck.
F.

The same thing has been happening to me within the past week. My disgruntle next door neighbor who constantly watches my house uses a Wi-Fi jammer to interfere with my security cameras and Nest doorbell.

My next door neighbor uses a video jammer to jam my security cameras. They are now jamming my Nest doorbell video when someone walks up to my house. Thankfully, I can hear the doorbell ring, but I’m not alerted of sound or motion. Is there a solution. I’ve contacted the police, but was told I need proof.

Why would your neighbor want to do that? It doesn't do them any good.
Probably add another camera and see how it goes.
In my case, just before the event loss, the camera has the guy pressing the
doorbell. We just noticed that one of his hands is in his pocket.

My neighbor tries to harass us all the time, but that’s a long story. One day the wife came to our door to ask to retrieve her child’s ball. From our camera, we could see a rectangular shaped object in her hand. At the same time one of our cameras were jammed.
