Hi. We just installed a new Nest Doorbell (wired, Gen2) and a Nest Hub. We don't receive announcements in the Hub when the doorbell is rung. The hub can stream however video from the front door and the camera works, and the doorbell rings at the camera. And we do receive the announcements in the Google Home app on the iPhone. All settings in instructions are correct according to app instructions (enable notifications, doorbell and hub in same home on Home app, allow personal results, even downloaded and activated Google Assistant app on phone). Nothing. We need help trouble shooting and fixing this. I found other users having this issue with no solution found and the threads closed. Thanks in advance!
Thank you for bringing up the concern you're experiencing, I would love to look into this further for you. The first troubleshooting step that I'd recommend would be to restart your devices. This process should keep all your settings, and reconnect it to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever freezes, has connection problems, or isn't working normally. Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

@Enrique_S just one quick final check in here since activity has slowed down. We'll be locking the thread in the next 24 hours, but if you still need help, I would be happy to keep it open. If there's more we can do, just let me know.
I appreciate your help, Brad and paulluceypl.
I just reset to factory settings and it worked using this post. One more thing, just make sure when setting up again on the home app you toggle "visitor announcements" to on. It's automatically on off for some reason.
